
Housing Sustaining Services provide ongoing support, education, and problem-solving to help clients remain stably housed, preventing eviction, conflict, or destabilization. They ensure long-term housing security after a client is placed.
A designated housing case manager will regularly monitor the individual’s housing stability, troubleshoot concerns, and provide encouragement.
We intervene early in cases of conflict with landlords, neighbors, or roommates to resolve issues before they escalate into eviction or abandonment.
We teach money management skills, connect clients with rent subsidy programs or emergency financial assistance, and help apply for rental assistance renewals.
We link clients to food pantries, transportation assistance, job placement programs, behavioral health counseling, legal aid, and other services as needed.
We train and support clients on navigating interpersonal relationships in their housing environment, whether with neighbors or property management, while honoring their cultural identity.
Clients are educated about their tenant rights and responsibilities, including how to maintain a lease, avoid lease violations, and communicate effectively with landlords.
